Welcome! We are excited your family is interested in becoming a part of the church community! There are several ways your school-age children can get involved. In addition to Sunday school (grades Pre-K through 5th), we offer a Wednesday night children’s program following our Cross & Flame community meal. On Wednesdays, we explore the stories of the Bible through exciting hands-on activities including crafts, games, science experiments, and even cooking!
Throughout the year, we have special events for children and their families. Past events have included: Picnics, Pumpkin painting, Family Fun Day at Main Event, Easter egg hunts, and more! Check out our upcoming events on the church’s calendar!

Summer Church Camp - As United Methodists, we are blessed with connectional ministries that give us the opportunity to offer camp to children as young as rising 1st graders! You and your child can join together with dozens of other United Methodists across the state for amazing camp experiences at our beautiful Canyon Camp, located in Hinton, OK. Several dates are available for 2019.
MOTHER'S DAY OUT
Our mission at Mother’s Day Out is simple…we are here to teach the children about Jesus and love them as He loves them. We will help develop them mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially with age appropriate activities and guidance – all in a Christ-honored setting.
My mission, as the Director of Mother’s Day Out, is also simple. I am here to support our MDO families and ensure quality care for their children. I am also here to support the staff, who will help our MDO children discover their abilities and talents, exercise creativity and initiative, develop independence, self-worth, and a strong character, all while learning the truth of God’s Word.
I view our role as an extension of the home. It is my hope and prayer that we can be present in our MDO children’s lives and serve to assist our MDO families in “training up a child in the way he/she should go.”

MOTHER'S DAY OUT
The Mother's Day Out program here at Kingfisher First United Methodist Church helps mothers add in some “me time” to their busy schedule each week. It also gives children the chance to interact with peers, have fun and even learn. Mother’s Day Out operates Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9:30 am -2:30 pm. through the school year. ADULT
You weren’t meant to live this life alone, and you can’t follow Christ or become who you were meant to be in isolation. We all need a community of real relationships where we can be who we really are. Those relationships provide the support, encouragement, and accountability we need to live the lives God is calling us to live. Our Wednesday night Adult Study Group meets at 7:00 pm to offer Christian fellowship and study.
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
The United Methodist Women (UMW) is the only official organization for women within the United Methodist Church. Founded in 1869, it is "the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members" The UMW offers all Methodist women opportunities for spiritual growth, leadership development, transformative education and service and advocacy. Currently, meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1:30 pm.
